Come to the Bayou Bash
Homecoming will have a Cajun flavor this year as the football Vols take on Louisiana Lafayette. The Nov. 2-3 events will celebrate the theme “Smokey’s Bayou Bash.”
Several special events will highlight the weekend. The centerpiece event, “Celebrating our Heroes: Past and Present” will honor all military alumni. Also planned is Celebrating the Legacy and Continuing the Vision—the 30th anniversary of the Love United Gospel Choir (LUGC). All former LUGC members are invited back to campus to participate in this special celebration.
Other highlights will include the annual homecoming parade and Party in the Park. Party in the Park kicks off four hours before the football game. With live entertainment, good food, and plenty of fun for all, you won’t want to miss this party. The featured event will be the academic showcase, spotlighting academic departments.
